Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films, usually horror and martial arts. She is similar with The Cinema Snob in that she likes action-oriented films that are dumb. The reviews began in the latter half of 2009, and following her rise to fame (under her old name, Obscurus-Lupa) Allison Pregler subsequently became part of the family at Channel Awesome. The site was up and running till the start of 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents retooled into Movie Nights. Additionally, she hosts two podcasts on her channel that both cover the Charmed franchise, and they both co-host together with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. When she gained acclaim on Channel Awesome forums, she was asked to be part of the reviewing group. She has been on countless Channel Awesome episodes, including Atop the Fourth Wall as in Phelous & the Movies. She was featured on numerous episodes on Nostalgia Critic and was a past member of the Channel Awesome family together with Doug Walker.
